Sometimes it’s not about how well you write; but, what you write.

Aap yaad bahot aati ho
Jab koii saath nahi deta
Jab koii baat nahi sunta
Toh aap yaad bahot aati ho

Kadam jab ladkhadate hain
Aapki yaad dilaate hain
Sambhalne ki koshish jo karta
Ye duniya muskurati haii
Girr ke jab uth nahi paata
Toh aap yaad bahot aati ho

Ek wo bhi din the
Jab haalaat kuchh yun the
Ke raat huii_Palkein jhukii
Aur ham yun hi so gaye
Ab neend mujhe nahi aati haii
Par aap yaad bahot aati ho

Jab rote hue
Main sehem sa jaata tha
Meri namm aankhon ko bhi
Aapne kabhi na saha_
Ab aansu toh baaki hain nahii
Par aap yaad bahot aati ho

Meri saari khatayein aap
Bachpana samajh mua’af kar deti thi
Gale se laga ke aap
Apne saare gham bhula deti thi
Ab manzoor nahi aapki kamii ho
Par aap yaad bahot aati ho

Jab neend mujhe nahi aati thi
Aap godh mein mujhe sulaati thi
Baalon mein haath fera karti thi
Thakan se choor aap loriyaan sunati thi
Ab wo din toh na aane ko
Par aap yaad bahot aati ho

Kaise guzre hain din aur raatein aapki
Main aapse kabhi puchhta nahii_
Ke aap kahin ro na jao
Main aapke saamne rota nahi
Waada toh poora hua nahii wo
Par aap yaad bahot aati ho

Tamaam raat jo aapne
Meri yaadon ke sahaare guzaari hain
Main unki kasam utha ke kehta hun
Mujhe aap yaad bahot aati ho

Wo jo geet maine suna nahi
Aapki umr bhar ka reyaas tha
Aapk dard ki thi wo daastan
Jinhein hansi-hansi mein udaa gaya
Jaanta hun mua’afi ke laayaq nahi
Par aap yaad bahot aati ho

Aapki ek hansi ki khaatir
Aapke qadmo tale haii jhuk jaana
Jannat ko bhi paana haii
Aapka haq ada phir bhi haii reh jaana
Bass itni si ye baat maan lo
Ke aap yaad bahot aati ho

Aap jo naaraz ho jao
Main manaane aa jaunga
Main ek din chala toh jaunga
Magar phir laut ke aaunga
Mehshar mein kuchh yaad ho na ho
Par aap yaad bahot aati ho

Aksar mere zehen mein
Uthta haii bass yehi sawaal
Meri tanha si zindagi mein
Kaash hota na koii waqt e zawaal
Ki main dua maanga toh bhul sakta hun
Magar dua mein aapko nahi

Aankhein band jo karta hun
Nazar bass tum hi aati ho
Main harr shab yehi sochta hun
Maa aap yaad bahot aati ho
Mujhe aap yaad bahot aati ho

    Mene Bhot socha ki Koi baat Na Ho.. Magar tumhari likhawat ne Muje majboor sa kr Dia.
    Itna khubsurat lafzon ka karwan mene Aaj talak nahi dekha…
    Lifafe me bnd Ho jaise jazbaat..
    Mene Akele me yun jazbaton ko umadhte nahi dekha…
    Bhot pyaara likha h.. This is the best thing I have ever read so far in this blog ( your other writings are also precious)

  6. Been away for a few days from blogging and getting to read such a sad dhaasthaan.
    It’s so sad. At first I thought it was all about a broken relationship. It sounded like you were writing out the thoughts that cross my head on many days.

    But the more I read, the more I am proved wrong. It’s about missing a mother. Very touched.
    But I am hoping that it’s just missing a mom who is only some miles away on the same earth we live on.

    [Btw, mind correcting the “women” to “woman” on the image? And do delete this part of the comment :)]
