This Nazm(Urdu Poem) is not exactly a part II of my originally composed poem Muhabbat hi toh thi. This is more of a reply to the earlier said matters. So, here it goes_
Muhabbat hi toh thi
Qayaamat toh nahiiN thi
anjaan hii toh the
bayjaan toh nahīñ the
naadaaN hi toh the
Meherbaan toh nahiiN the
Aur kitna zulm sehte
Besākhta ishq ke naam par
Tamām khwahisheñ hi toh thi
Intekām toh nahīñ the
Sirf Muhabbat hi nahiiN
Woh qayaamat bhi thi
usay meri fikr hi toh thi
dua’ meñ zikr toh nahiiN tha
woh sajde meN dikh toh raha tha
dil meñ khuda toh nahiiN tha
kaise dil se rihaa karte
jab ki wo ruuh talak basa tha
Main aib e daar hi toh thi
Ehsan faraamosh toh nahiiN thi
Sirf Muhabbat hi nahiiN
Woh qayaamat bhi thi
Doori hi toh thi
Koī judāi toh nahīñ thi
Adhūri hi toh thi
Par tanhayī toh nahīñ thi
Kab talak yaqiin dilaate
Ham tumheñ apne paaki ka
Faqat safaī hi toh thi
Be’wafaī toh nahīñ thi

Each and every word has their own feeling and that last four lines “kab talak yaqeen dilate tumhe apni paaki ka,faqat safai hi to thi bewafai to nhin thi” are so umdaa written..MashaAllah…
and it feels so great to read and feel your words after a little gap …
